Lee County Real Estate Agent - AJ listened to me and educated me
After a long, long time waiting for my Maryland home of 32 years to sell, I signed a contract on March 13th and agreed to a closing date of April 20th. 

WHEW!!! -- Not much time to find a place for my 93 year old Dad, myself, 1 aged poodle, 3 cats, and all my "toys".  I flew to Florida on March 23rd, met AJ, and started explaining my needs - not as simple as it sounds.  Let's be honest.  Most of us buy a home because of our "wants" rather than the "needs" so carefully included on that big list we all make.

After the first day AJ apparently gained insight as to what I like as well as what I needed.  He eliminated the places he knew were not for me but still let me insist on seeing a couple of places that just "sounded" so good -- even though he told me they'd probably not make my final list.

Towards the end of the second day AJ showed me "The One".  He had already found out from the builder's agent that they were willing to negotiate on price.  He got the answers to questions I brought up, and worked with the builders people.

On day three AJ took me to the builders offices and gave me a short course in buying property.  (After all, it had been 32 years since I had been  involved in this process.)  I signed on the dotted line and returned to Maryland to finish packing.

AJ continued to follow through by conducting a walk-through with the builder and keeping tabs on their progress.  On April 23rd AJ met me at the builders office and we completed the sale.  He's continued to keep in touch as I moved in and as I began the pool-building  process.

To sum up, AJ listened to me, educated me, and always treated me as an intelligent person.  This allowed me to make the best decision for myself, my Dad, my pets and for the life I plan to live here in Florida.  Thank you, AJ.

Having recently purchased a canal property in Cape Coral Florida I wish to give unreserved credit to the Century 21 salesman who helped make my purchase a reality. A.J. Ackerman picked up my interest in buying from an e-mail inquiry I made in February of 2011. A.J. honed in very quickly on my particular needs, price range and closing date.

Although I was 1500 miles away from Cape Coral A.J. put together a portal of properties which he e-mailed me on a daily basis. Each contained a good number of photos highlighting the particular home. This is a recommendation letter for A.J. Ackerman, who was our real estate agent when we were looking to buy a home in Ft Myers, Fla, moving from Penna. Several months before we got to Ft Myers, I was searching sites on the internet for homes for sale, when I received a correspondence from AJ, sending me lists of homes that met our criteria that we might be interested in. No pressure at all. Because of his continued enthusiasm, and no hard sale tactics, I contacted him shortly before we arrived in Ft Myers to start our search. Back in Oct. around the 4th we met AJ for the first time. Pretty much right off the start we knew we had made a good choice. He greeted us with a firm hand shake and smile. AJ explained what he had planned for us that day and if we needed a break just to let him know. Then we were off on our new search.

We must say that he stayed with exactly what we were looking for. We were floored by the first 2 homes we saw. We could have stopped right then as at the end of the day they were the final 2 to choose from. The other homes were all very nice. But we just had the warm and fuzzy feeling (as my wife says) about those 2.

AJ went far and beyond of what we could have asked. He even had a feeling of what we wanted before we even spoke with him. Usually would have already taken care of it before we asked.

He met inspectors at the home and family members as well. Without ever complaining. He went behind the workers when work was done to make sure that it was done right. Not just once but a few times.

AJ is by far the Best Realtor that I have ever had to work with on a purchase of a New Home. Not only have we found the best in his field but we have made a Great New Friend.
